“Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house” (Proverbs 17:13).

Evil and good are direct opposites. Those who think they can be a little of both will find an impossible task. Many think that God will overlook what they consider lesser forms of evil, but He hates evil in any form. That is why Paul admonished the Thessalonicians to “abstain from from every form of evil” ( I Thess. 5:22).
